A Frame for a friend

Hello Friends,
Spring is right around the corner, and with it, a brand new release from Poppystamps! You are going to LOVE our brand new set of springtime stamps and dies. Today, I am sharing a little sneak peek of a beautiful stamp set from our brand new release, Butterfly Wings!
Butterfly Wings is a full set of stamps and sentiments, with an extra large clear stamp of this gorgeous field of butterflies! I used the large stamp in my MISTI, and gave it a good inking with black ink that won't run with copic markers.
Once my image was inked, I let it dry, trimmed the edges, and then colored all the butterflies with a handful of bright copic markers! It was so relaxing! Once the copics were dry, I then cut out the center square with the Deco Cecil Frame, then adhered the stamped sentiment from Love & Friendship on the back.
Instead of making a card that opened, I made an "art card" style design that can be reinserted into a small frame, or be written on the back to send a cheerful word to a good friend! A few Stitched Fluttering Butterflies was the finishing touch!
