Sparkly Negative Spaces
by Rebecca Keppel

I love backing a negative space with a fun contrasting color like I did with the deep teal cardstock on the Winged Bird Die cut out of the dark grey. But I wanted to make the birds wings even more special. So, I filled them with a clear liquid adhesive and then added tiny star sequins. The liquid adhesive dries clear and dimensional, so any parts of the wing not covered by stars are still special.

Check out this quick video to see how I quickly pulled this card together!

How do you like to use negative die cut spaces? Die cut inlay? Making shaker cards? I’d love to hear! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This is gorgeous and I love the color combo (my absolute favorite!!). I like to make shakers a lot so that’s what I use my negative space for. Sometimes, inlaid with colors used from several cuts.
