Winter Haven
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

I've got a fun card to share with you today! I've never really made anything quite like this before, and it turned out great! It was easy to make too! I created a bright, crisp, all-white shaker card and I only used ONE die! Take a look!

The card was created like any usual shaker card, with a base, front panel, foam stick tape, acetate, and a background piece. But I only used one die to make it, House in the Woods, from the latest Poppystamps release. It is such a beautiful die, I knew I wanted to create a shaker the very moment I laid eyes on it.

I made the entire card out of bright white card stock, and used white glitter background paper to make the sky sparkle behind the acetate. I filled the shaker with a handful of very tiny clear seed beads. I wish you could see how it sparkles in the light!

I added one tiny piece of green paper to light the windows in the house, to shine a light for a Veteran! It's a tiny safe winter haven in the snow!

I love how the House in the Woods die cuts such a detailed, intricate pattern with only one cut! You have got to try this!

While you're here, check out our Poppystamps challenge, Plaid is Rad! There's still time to play, and you might be a winner!

Thanks for joining me today!
