Merry Snowflakes
by Sue McRae

It's another great day to be visiting us at Poppystamps because we're still on a roll with the blog blitz.

Today I'm featuring the Pickering Snowflake Border. This die can quickly add a festive touch on your cards either vertically or horizontally or the snowflakes can be cut apart to use individually.

I went with nontraditional colours for this card by water colouring the snowflakes in pink, purple, blue and aqua shades. After they were dry I gave them a quick spritz with Perfect Pearls.

The sentiment is actually from the Merry Christmas Tag die. I die cut the tag from glossy card stock that I coloured with alcohol inks and trimmed out the sentiment. This way you get a lot more mileage from your dies.

The silver ornament is part of the Merry Ornament die. I just snipped it away from the sentiment and adhered it to the back of the snowflake.

I adhered all my die cuts to a piece of wood grain card stock and added a few gems to finish off the card.

Remember to leave a comment for your chance to win the Pickering Snowflake Border and come back every day to see all the inspiration from the design team.

Thanks for visiting with me today.
