Capri Sleigh
by Sue McRae

Welcome to another blog blitz post. Sue here with my first card showcasing the new Capri Sleigh.

I started by colouring my background in different shades of Distress Ink, placing the Memory Box Scattered Flakes Stencil on top of the dried background and applying Picket Fence Distress Ink with a sponge dauber.

The Capri Sleigh is a three piece die set making it easy to customize each section of the sleigh in whatever colours or patterns you wish! I die cut the sleigh from foil card stock (and it embosses a pretty design into the sleigh as well) and used silver glitter card stock for the runner and decorative trim.

Of course I needed to fill the sleigh with presents and presents with glitter and sparkle. I also think the sleigh would look great filled with a few trees or holiday ornaments.

The pine trees were die cut from white card stock and where the die embosses a raised section on the tree I added Flower Soft for snowy texture. You could use glitter or beads too!

To ground the scene I used the Merry & Bright Channel die which lets some of the background colour peek through.

For your chance to win the Capri Sleigh please leave a comment on this post.

The blog hop continues until October 3rd so make sure to drop by every day and leave a comment on each blog post to win the specified die from the new release.

Happy Crafting!
