2016 Holiday Blog Blitz Begins!

2We're so excited to share the Poppystamps new 2016 Holiday Release with you!  We're celebrating with a blog blitz!  That means starting today  we'll be showing you the newest products and giving away a prize on every post through July 18 !  We hope you love the new designs and the samples from the team.   While the new release is packed with new favorites for Holiday Cheer I was immediately smitten with the fall images!    I love the crisp air and show of color in the fall.  I can practically smell pumpkin pie just thinking about it!!

The new Fall Leaf Collage is amazing!  You can use it to create a beautiful background of die cut stitched leaves or just use the pretty leaf shapes by themselves.   I love the different shapes including oak and maple and cut mine from all different colors.  

When I added the large sentiment I thought it covered too many of shapes from the collage so I added separate die cuts to fill up the white card base.   If you look close you can see some of the leaves are inlaid and others are adhered on top of the base. 

The Give Thanks Brushed is also brand new.  I die cut the sentiment on a panel of white card stock and then die cut the negative shape with a circle to create my sentiment.  The circle layers from Memory Box Open Studio are great for layering!  I like the look an open die cut creates especially when color is peeking though!

  9. Hi Jeanne, I love this leaf collage die, your card has very ‘happy’ colours and I love the ‘stitched’ aspects to the dies, I also love the stitched circles, and the ‘give thanks brushed’ die-cut with the blue ‘peeping out’ through the die-cut is fabulous !!

  50. Wow Jenna I love your card and the leaf collage is definitely on my wish list and has moved to the very top. Your colours really pop and I can imagine how great it would look in all the wonderful autumnal colours too and although we don’t celebrate thanks giving in the uk we celebrate harvest festival and this would be fab for that but my immediate thought were retirement cards and older male birthdays too.
