Butterfly Wedding

Hi everyone, Sue here with a card I made for a wedding.

I started off by using the Memory Box Cressida Stencil and some embossing paste to make the background for the butterflies.  Before the paste dried I sprinkled on some white glitter for a little sparkle.

For the Theo and Whidbey butterflies I used Shimmer Sheetz (which is a mylar/plastic) in an iridescent colour. The sheet looks white but when you move it at around you can see yellow, green, purple and blue colours.  It is so pretty and I thought it would be perfect for the butterflies.

I tried to capture the rainbow of colours in a few photos.

The butterflies are sitting on a bed of leaves die cut from vellum and they were adhered to the stenciled piece.

I added a bit of ribbon and attached everything to a pale blue card base.

Thanks for visiting with me today!
