Easter Blessings!

Jeanne here today!  Just wanted to wish you all a beautiful Easter day!  I hope the sun is shining and your spending the day with the ones you love!

I love all the colorful stained glass windows in church and thought I'd make one of my own for today.   I cut the Grand Gothic Stained Glass Window in white card stock to create a frame.  Next I embossed the frame and attached it to a purple card stock matt.   I used an adhesive runner to fill the inside of the window frame with sticky tape.  Next I inserted the white cut window and added colored panes in pink and purple to complete the window.  To add a little more dimension I cut the window die a second time and layered it on top of the completed inlaid frame.
My sentiment was created in word and cut with the Ribbon Banner die.  Last I added a pretty little butterfly embellishment.  Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful blessed day!

  1. Happy Easter to you, too, Jeanne. Your stained glass card is gorgeous, love the shades of pink and dash of purple, really elegant!

  2. Wow, this Easter card is amazingly beautiful. So many beautiful details in the Gothic window. The embossing around the frame adds beautiful texture, it looks like a plastered wall. The butterfly is a lovely embellishment. Thank you for sharing the step by step of how you made this card. I hope you had a blessed Easter.

  3. Not the traditional Easter colours that I would have chosen but how beautiful. The embossing is lovely & the window creates such an eyecatching focal point. fabulous
