Merry

A quick card today, and don't we all like quick cards.  I know I do.  I used up lots of scrap pieces on this one.  Why so many scraps?  Well, I'm working on a project that will be shown later, and I cut it wrong twice and scored it wrong once….therefore, lots and lots of scraps!  I was lucky to have large enough ones to make this card, and there still are more to be used at a later time.

I was at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique and Karen had just gotten in her new shipment of Poppystamps dies.  I know, I have many, but you can never have too many…Right?  Please say Right!  Karen had the Merry die, which I looked at several times as I was thinking of how I might use this die.  While looking I found the Clarissa Ornament and background.  I love the ornament dies and knew I needed this one.  A little silver string and the outside of this card is done.

Now, what about the inside?

Yup, more scraps.  I borrowed the Zig Zag Knit from my friend Brenda, did some layering, added the Giovanna snowflake and a sentiment…this card is done.  Guess what, I'm one card closer to having all my Christmas cards finished.  I'm happy!

Until next time….Happy crafting….and Hugs,

  1. Very cute! I like how you used a silvery foil paper for the ornament top! Every time I use the Bubble Ornament I always wonder how I can make the top! Thanks for a great idea!
