Ribbon Scarf

Wrap up one of the pups in a ribbon scarf! This little embellishment uses just a tiny bit of ribbon and adds a bit of dimension to the card. We stamped Reindeer Rex (231C) on white cardstock and also on a sheet of patterned paper from our 6×6 Cedar and Snow paper pack.

Cut out the rex image from the white cardstock (shade the bottom of him with a little bit of Copic Marker in Frost Blue) and wrap ribbon around his neck. Once the ribbon is tied and glued onto the cut-out, mount this onto the patterned paper. A little bit of velvety ribbon, some more patterned paper and a Meadow colored notecard – and you have Rex running across the greeting with the ribbon scarf flowing behind! Another detail – add a red rhinestone to his nose!
