Sweet 16 Birthday Wishes

Hello, Poppystamps friends! I am excited to be back up on the blog today sharing this fun birthday card featuring the Joyride Car set. This would be perfect for someone’s Sweet 16 with that adorable bow on the car!
This card all started with the Joyride Car. I cut the main parts out of Deep Turquoise card stock and the trim pieces from gray card stock. Since the parts with the tires were turquoise, I just colored them with a black marker. I cut the windshield from white card stock and ink blended it with a light turquoise ink. I assembled all of it with liquid glue.
Next I assembled the big bow to put on the car using the Cute Bow set. I found some patterned paper in the Birthday Fun paper pack that complemented the colors in the bow, so I cut a strip of the paper and glued it to the bottom of my white A2 card base. I glued the car on top, and then I added some balloons in similar colors. I used balloons from both the Festive Balloons set and the Balloon Bunch set.
I finished the card with a sentiment from the Birthday Banners stamp and die set, and I think it turned out so cute. Is it as cute as the car with a penguin inside? I mean, nothing is as cute as that! But, I think it turned out really sweet. Thank you so much for joining us on the blog today!
