Not Too Spooky
By Lisa Elton

There’s a pretty little new pop up house in the Poppystamps neighborhood! I’ve dolled it up with sage green and gray for you today.
The warm glow in the windows comes from yellow cardstock with an overlay of vellum.

She’s pretty, but she looks kind of bare. Lets jazz her up, shall we!

The house is flanked with trees trimmed out from the Soaring Tree Frame. The leaves were colored with Copics. I added lots of “not too spooky” ghosts (in fact they’re pretty darn cute!) and a pair of smiling jack-o-lanterns.

Do you see those little scallops in the bottom windows? They came from the tree frame too!

It wouldn’t be Halloween without a big yellow moon and some clouds! I wouldn’t mind trick or treating at this house, though. How about you?

Oh my gosh Lisa, is this house ever CUTE!! I’d definitely trick or treat there!! All your little additions are perfection and I’m loving the vellum ghosts, the pumpkins, moon, clouds and trees! Sweet, sweet card my friend!! :0)
No tricks but LOTS of treats, that’s my idea of the perfect Halloween! Lisa, you’ve taken a darling house and brought it home for the Halloween season – can’t wait until you decorate it for Christmas!
Loving all the details – even those scalloped shades! You’ll excuse me now while I go back for second looks…

Hi Lisa, This house is gorgeous, but after you added all the embellishments it is absolutely fabulous, I want to live there, even with the ‘nice’ ghosts haha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
What a fantastic scene you created!
This is adorable, Lisa! Love those see through ghosts that look quite friendly and all the other Halloween decorations! It looks like a great place to go trick or treating!
You really made this pop-up a ghostly adventure, Lisa – love, love, love it!!
Fantastic, Lisa. I expected to see a spooky house but yours is pretty even though it’s haunted by those darling vellum ghosts. The way you arranged them makes it seem like they are flying around.
DEFINITELY a cute house, and not too spooky! Terrific idea to use the frame of the one die for window coverings too
Nope, wouldn’t mind trick or treating at this sweet little house one bit, Lisa! Love all the fun elements you added.
Oh my goodness, Lisa, this is so wonderful! I love every detail and the way you extended the elements off the edges. A wonderful choice of dies and colors to decorate for Halloween.
So adorable Lisa!
