Foiled Birthday Card

Hello, Marybeth Lopez   here with you today. I am sharing a clean and simple hot foiled birthday card with you today . Some of you may know I love quilting and working with fabric. Well, it seems hearts are all the rage in fabric this year (not just for Valentine’s Day anymore) So I thought I would continue the hearts in card making as well.

I used the Poppystamps Hot Foil Plate called: Criss Cross Heart. As you can see the plate worked perfectly when foiled and didn’t need much more than a simple greeting sentiment.

I used the Poppystamps Hot Foil and Cut Die Set called: Birthday Wishes Poe Script.

Sorry about the bad color in this photo. I wanted to show how I cut two layers of the outline die for the Birthday greeting . I adhered two layers for just a bit of a pop off the heart background .

When I take my hot foil machine out I foil many things in many colors all at once. I do quilt a lot at one time. Then when I go to make a card I have many choices and I just add them to my card.
