Holiday Wreath

Hey Poppystamps friends! Tiffany here with more holiday inspiration for you. Today, I’m featuring items from the newest release for an easy Christmas card. There aren’t many steps, so let’s dive in!

First, I hot foiled a piece of Hammermill cardstock with the Leaf and Tendril Hot Foil Plate. I used silver glimmer hot foil. The smoother the paper, the better for hot foiling and the Hammermill cardstock worked perfectly. I trimmed this panel down to 5 x 3.75 inches, added a few layers of scrap cardstock for dimension, and added it to an A2 card base.

Next, I die cut the Pine Needle Shoots many, many times from two shades of green cardstock. I also die cut the berries from the Layered Holly Leaf Trio from pink cardstock. This step took the longest as it took several layers of the largest to mid size pine needles to fill this large wreath. After all of the die cutting, I arranged my wreath by interlocking the pine needles into a circle shape. Arranging the pine needles also took a little fiddling. Once the arrangement was finished, I used Press’N’Seal to pick up the entire wreath, add glue to the back, and adhere to the card front. To embellish the wreath, I added glitter brush marker to each berry and white pen detail around the wreath to mimic a little snow.

Lastly, I worked on the sentiment. I die cut the Joy Freestyle Script from vellum and silver foil cardstock. I added the sentiment mid-wreath with liquid glue. I hope you enjoyed this card and are inspired to try something similar. Have a great weekend!
