Happy Pumpkins
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello friends! Marybeth Lopez here today , sharing this group of fun and happy pumpkins from Poppystamps. These Haunting Pumpkins…. just look kinda happy to me and make a great Halloween Card or for someone with a birthday in October, keep the face off and perfect for fall.

This was a simple card to make if you don't make a mistake (haha). Like I did.

The Happy Halloween clear stamp is also from Poppystamps called Halloween Ingredients.

After diecuttig the pumpkins I used  Oxide ink  and my blending brush to blend in the two colors.  Not sure if you can see but I added bit of two sided tape on my glass mat so that the pumpkins would stay in place, when I blended the ink. If I left inside the negative the sides would still be white.

So, I decided to add a bit of shimmer and blended two colors. When I was all finished with my card I dropped it in the pool of shimmer ink. It was all over the back side. I ended up cutting the back off and trimming down the front of the card then just added it to a new card base. Happy Save 🙂

For the front of my card I used striped patterned paper from memory box called Garland Stripes and Dots.

Hope you have a happy week and wonderful Halloween .  Have you ever had a happy save?

Take care and God bless!

  1. Hi Marybeth, The paper you created for your die-cut pumpkins is beautiful and I’m loving the striped backing paper, it looks so elegant. I too think the pumpkin faces look happy although not sure if they are liking spider climbing up on them haha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
