A Very Warm Christmas
by Nancy Penir

Happy Holidays Poppy Peeps! I have a card for you today using some of the newest released dies, and a fun way to create just the right sized mantle garland for the new Whittle Fireplace.

I left all my Whittle die cuts white, and assembled the scene onto one of the new holiday papers included in the Dashing Holiday set. Love the bright crisp white against the holiday red print. But I wanted a holiday look to my mantle. Here’s how I created my garland…

Poppy’s Leafy Wreath die! It cuts out just the right size to assemble a garland for my mangle. I cut the die out of 3 shades of green, before adding tiny clear rhinestones to simulate holiday lights.

Here’s a closeup of the garland. The mirror is the inner frame of a die set called Deco Cecil Frame. I cut the center from silver mirror card stock.

The stocking with mouse is popped up with foam.

I just love the Leafy Ornament Frame to round out my Christmas scene, and simply cut the ornament from the frame. Those darling corners are just the right touch of folksy glam to my Whittle Fireplace.

Have a wonderful week, and hope you enjoy this most blessed season!
