Hello! Welcome to the 4th day of the Blog Blitz! We are showcasing some of Poppystamps brand new Products and oh boy …. I am loving them all!

Dave ( the owner) has a great video up on the store website if you would like to watch how he made a card using the same set but with ink blending.

I used a water-pen and Zig Brush Pens to color my card.

Tape the main panel , then tape down the stencil. I used frog tape because I like how easily  it comes off.

Here is a photo of some of the process. After I took off the stencil I watercolored the branches . I cut two lavers of this panel , layered them for a bit of depth. The watercolor paper is thick so two was just enough.

I watercolored the cabin then added the glittered roof. I cut a piece of fun foam , colored the door and window then glued together and on the main panel. I added Glossy Accents to the windows to look like glass.

Can you see the stencil above…. it comes with the die!

I love this new little Poppystamps Winter Cabin  I also used the new Poppystamps Tidings of Joy Clear Stamp.

  28. Beautiful watercoloring, I love this effect as it softens the color blending and the stencil is brilliant for masking things off! Plus, by choosing to watercolor, you have more control what is colored for example, you left the sentiment area “clean” whereas Dave’s card, he sponged around the sentiment area; both are equally great! Thank you for showing another way to use this set!
