Wintertime Fairies Slider Card
by Nancy Penir

Hi there! Nancy here, and I have an interactive card to show you today. It’s Slider Week at Poppy, and Memory Box has released a new die set to help you create a slider.

The set offers 4 sizes and shapes, and is used with your stamps. Let me show you.

If you’ve never done a slider card, You Tube has several videos and how-to’s. My slider is made with 2 pieces of foam fit together within the cutout, and attached to my fairy. A pulltab with ribbon slides the image through the slide.

The stamp set I used is from the darling new Wintertime Fairies, (coming soon!) and has a coordinating set of matching dies.

The sweet holiday fairies set has 3 fairies in different poses. I stamped, cut and colored my fairies and images first,

and created my background card base from Distress Oxide Inks. On the bottom of the card I created a stencil by tearing a piece of paper in the shape of a hill before spritzing it with white spray.

The scene has the flying fairy starting at one end of the card, and flying to the other end, lighting the Christmas lights banner.

I hope you enjoyed my slider post today. Remember to check back to see how each designer  used this useful and fun die set!

And don’t forget to leave a comment to win a stamp set of your choice. Good luck!

  12. Beautiful, fun slider card. The curved sliders have so many creative possibilities. I wish I had the winter fairy stamps and dies now, they would be perfect for my grandaughters birthday card this month! They don’t look like winter fairies, they could be any season fairies, perfect for girl cards!
The slider dies are so fantastic and add more dimension to card making, love it!
