Snow Dash
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing a card I created using a few dies from the brand new Holiday release, along with an old friend, the Boddington Tree Border.

This little car is so adorable that I wanted to create a crisp white winter scene and have the car and tree "come alive" with color! I made a different version of this earlier, using different dies from the Boddington Tree series, but I just couldn't make it all come together the way I wanted. So I filed it away and pulled out the Boddington Tree Border, and completed this card in just a few minutes! It was SO easy breezy and it looks really cute too!

The difference in my second card was that I put all the focus on this little car, the Family Car! It pairs perfectly with the Car Toppers, which include the tiny tree and a stack of packages and a bow. I mounted the car with a few little pieces of foam tape to make it pop off the card, and that made all the difference in the world! The tiny wheel dies are shaped like doughnuts, so I cut out two small circles with a hole punch and glued the white circles to the back, and then mounted each wheel with a little bit of foam. I love the look of the car floating in air above the wheels, which also pop off the page creating dimension and shadow. The little tree even has a flat edge on one side, which means it looks adorable when it's on the side on the roof of the car!

No matter what your crafting style is, from easy CAS inspired to massive mixed media projects, I guarantee that you will be able to find a Poppystamps die that you will love! Take a look at our new holiday release, enter our current challenge, and be inspired here at Poppystamps every day! You won't want to miss a thing!

Thanks for joining me today!
