Let it Snow!
by Jeanne Jachna

Thanks for stopping by !  We've just started our new release blog blitz!  We're showing off all the latest products (13 dies, and 9 clear cling stamp sets with matching dies).  Today I'm showing you the new You Melt My Heart stamp set.  The stamp sets are really versatile, and the coordinating dies make them fun to create scenes.  I wanted to show you how the dies work well with "stand alone" dies from the Poppy collection today.

I created a snowy sky with the Stitched Snowflake Cutouts.   I cut them from light blue card stock, layered this over a darker blue panel, and then inlaid white snowflake die cuts.  I stamped some snowflakes included in the set,  and added little white "dots" of snow with a white gel pen.

2The Stitched Landscapes die makes hilly grass or snow mounds beautifully!

Here is my snow family.  Don't you just love their little baby?  If you want to win this set:

JUST LEAVE ME A COMMENT!  One comment will be selected with random number generator to win this clear stamp set.   You have until Midnight USEST on October 22 to leave a comment.  Winners will be posted on October 26.  GOOD LUCK!  And please stop back often.  We're giving away a prize every post between October 7 and 20!  Who knows?  The winner might just be …. YOU!!

  25. Love today’s card. The Penguins are gorgeous. I especially like the snowflakes as well. Stunning.

  26. Jeanne, this card is adorable! It’s hard to get “different” looking snowmen, because they’ve been done A LOT, but Dave really made his snow people with individuality and personality.
I love those landscape dies and I finally bought them from my favorite scrapbooking store, and the store will be gone in a month after 18 years of being in business. Massachusetts will only have one store left. 🙁
PS You kindly answered my questions, and gave me your address quite a while ago, and my “thank you” (that I thought I had mailed, but it disappeared down a crack) will be coming your way soon.
I’m bummed that I’ve not been able to find a way to get your daily posts. I try to stay caught up, but I clearly lost track at the wrong time, since I stopped the day before your new release. Who would have thought there were even more beautiful holiday dies in the works?!
