Halloween Cat

So did my US friends have a good Labor Day weekend?  I had my mom over for her birthday for bbq ribs and corn on the cob and finished off with some yellow cake with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.  YUM!  I told her she needs to have more birthdays, and she said no – we just need to have ribs more often!  HAHA!!

Thanks for stopping by.  Today It’s mine turn to write the post at the Poppystamps blog.  I made this sweet Halloween card using the negative of the Large Curious Cat.  I just love how the music notes peek through from the background don’t you?

Ooooh and BIG BIG news coming tomorrow on 9-4.  We are celebrating a new Poppystamps release and will be having a “BLOG BLITZ”.  This means that for every post we will be giving away either one die or stamp from the new release.  For your chance to win all you have to do is leave a comment on the blog.  There will be up to two posts for every day – so two chances to win daily.  So make sure you add it to your “to do” list!!

  2. Love this card! Awesome design, I love how the cut the cat out to have the background show through. Also love the gems and ribbon. Thanks for sharing.

  3. clever use of the negative. I teach a class & I’m always telling my ladies don’t throw the negative out, you can either use to to frame your verse inside of card or use it on another card front. they don’t listen & toss them in my trash bin where I promptly remove them & put them in my stash. Your card is very pretty. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us. Linda Gibb
