Life of a Gnome!
by Rachel Duong

Hi Poppystamps friends! It’s Rachel here with a fun fall gnome card — are you getting ready for the cooler weather and the cool, crisp air? As much as I love summer, I do love the beautiful leaves of the next season along with mushrooms and gnomes!. I was also inspired  by a (soon to be released) album cover in mint green and orange… hence the title!

To create this card, I die cut the Poppystamps Nordic Heart Gnome. I used orange paper from the Blush Memory Box paper collection and patterned paper from the Memory Box Nutmeg Plaid paper pack. The gold foil paper is from the Memory Box Vintage Pastel Mirror pad. Next I glued the pieces together and a gnome appeared!

I chose a mint plaid paper for the card background and adhered it to a white cardbase.. I die cut the Nordic Heart Pattern Rings in pearlized mint green and white. This circular background is so intricate and beautiful. I left the white hearts attached in all the circles except for the outermost circle. I adhered the circles to the cardbase.

For the sentiment, I die cut the Hello in gold and white and adhered it to the carddase. And the adorable mushrooms– I die cut in the same paper used previously.

Finally, I embellished the card with mint jewels!

I hope you love this card as much as I do.. And I was just thinking– the gnome die will also make an awesome Santa Claus!
Thank you for stopping by. Please check out the Poppystamps shop. There are so many amazing Nordic dies that all coordinate together! Have a wonderful day. I will see you tomorrow!
