Birthday Flower Cart
by Allison Frazier

Hello, Poppystamps friends! I am excited to be back on the blog today sharing this sweet and colorful birthday card. I recently had the urge to do a little bit of organizing in my craft room, and I ran across these die sets that I hadn’t had a chance to play with. This card combines the Corner Shoppe Wooden Cart and the Handpicked Bouquet sets. I also used some of my favorite colored card stock from Memory Box.
I started by cutting three colors of card stock with the die from the Corner Shoppe Wooden Cart. This is one die that cuts all the pieces, so it’s great for cutting from white card stock and ink blending your colors. But I decided to keep all of my die cuts looking clean and fresh with the card stock, so I cut it from white, yellow and orange and assembled the cart with a little bit of each color.

Next, I cut the flowers and leaves from the Handpicked Bouquet – again, using several different colors. I glued the leaves/stems to the backs of the white buckets. Before glueing my elements onto my turquoise card panel, I chose a sentiment from the Balloon Celebrations stamp set and white heat embossed it onto the panel. I glued the cart and the buckets to the panel and left the leaves/stems loose so that I could add the flowers both behind and on top of the leaves.
That is it for my card today. I think it turned out really sweet, and I hope it brings a smile to your face! Thanks so much for joining us on the blog.
