July Challenge Reminder: Red, White and Bloom
By Lisa Elton
Hello friends, Lisa here today with a reminder that you still have time to play along in our monthly challenge. This month’s theme is Red, White and Bloom! Once entered, you will automatically be entered to win a $20 gift certificate to the store.

I think we would all agree… HOORAY, it’s summer! The summer months hold so many celebrations too, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day. My card started out to be something completely different. Then a lightbulb went off when my Rainbow Arch die was laying on my desk upside down…BUNTING!!

Red and white rainbow stripes were added to a card base covered with the Pointy Lattice Plate. I thought that gave the look of lattice, a trellis or even a fence.

Instead of stars, I added flowers cascading off the bunting. Mine were made with the Layered Pointy Petals die set, but any of the flowers in the shop would look great!

The large sentiment from the Hooray Stamp and Die set was perfect for this celebratory card. This would work well for a graduation card, retirement, birthday… so many options!

The Whittle Rainbow Unicorn Kit had just the perfect sized stars to add that festive feel. I popped some Clear Fairy Jewels into the flower centers to finish things off.

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us in our Red White and Bloom challenge this month. You still have time to play along and we sure hope you do!
