You Are Amazing

Hi friends, Lisa here today sharing a bright and happy celebration card I created for our granddaughter. Our Sweet P was selected to be on a competition math team for her school district. Her team placed in the top 5 out of about 40 teams! She was on a team of four with three boys. Said they were annoying, but they all worked well together LOL! Ahhh, to be 10 again! I put this card together for her and slipped a gift card to her favorite ice-cream shop inside. Lets take a couple of close up looks!
The Triple Scoops die was just what I needed. I used a creamy peachy-pink paper for the scoops with kraft paper for the cone. Lines were drawn on with a Copic marker for that sugar cone look. I few little dots went on as ice-cream add ins.
The deliciated, and ever so lovely, Scallop pinpoint heart was a great resting place for the ice-cream cone. It was cut from white cardstock and patterned paper from the Memory Box Gladiola Glimmer paper pad. I heat embossed the sentiment in gold, die cut it with the accompanying die, then tucked it under the cone. Those teeny hearts were made using the Hearts Shining Arch die and tiny scraps. That’s where the ice-cream add ons came from too!
In celebration of Sweet P’s little golden trophy, I popped everything onto a shimmery gold background. I must say this Nordic Fancy background was made to be cut from metallic paper! WOWZA! Layered, yet still clean and simple. Hmmm… I’m in the mood for a scoop, how about you?

It’s always a treat to see where that little sneak peek takes me, and I followed it to a beautiful place today! Indeed that background is gorgeous in gold, and the ice cream looks positively yummy, pretty sprinkles included! Clever how you made the cone more waffled.
