Nordic Bunny Love

Hello, Poppystamps friends! I am excited to be back on the blog today sharing some fun new products from the Nordic Spring Release! In my last post, I told you that I couldn’t wait to share some of the bunnies from the new release with you, so here we are! This Nordic Adorable Bunny might be my favorite one from the release, but it’s hard to choose.
Today’s card is very clean and simple, but the colors and the die cuts really pack a punch. I grabbed some of the new Memory Box 8.5 x 11 card stock in my favorite colors. I cut the new Nordic Heart Pattern Rings once from each color of yellow card stock: Summer Squash and Golden Wheat. I set the largest ring aside and then glued the remaining rings onto a circle that I had cut out using a die from my stash and the Orange Peel card stock. I took a slightly larger circle die and cut a circle into a panel of Deep Turquoise card stock. I trimmed that panel down to 4″ x 5.25″ and adhered it to a white card base. I glued my circle of rings into the center and then glued my adorable bunny on top. He was really easy to assemble, cutting most of it out of white card stock. The sweater took just two colors of the turquoise shades of card stock.
For my sentiment, I really wanted to use one of the several adorable bunny-themed word dies from the new release, but they just didn’t work with my circle design. So, I stamped the same sentiment that I used for my last card. This is from an older Poppystamps set called Whittle Sayings. I think it works even better on this card than my last one. There are just some stamp sets that you know you’ll hold onto forever, and this is one of them!
