Birthday Wishes
by Lisa Elton

Have you seen our newest stencil? It’s call Fanciful Flower and is it ever cute! There are several layers included in the set that let you use just of few or all of them together. I chose to use them all for today’s card. I picked a pretty spring palette to work with.

After completing the stenciling, I die cut the center using the Double Scalloped Stitched Frames die leaving the outer scalloped edge in place. Don’t forget about that little leftover rectangle. I saved it for something cute!

After die cutting the Brilliant Birthday Cake using white cardstock, I ink blended my colors on using the same inks from my stenciled panel. There’s also a bit of Wink of Stella added here for pizazz!

A white scrap of cardstock was added to the back of my stenciled panel to give me a resting place for the birthday cake and a sentiment.

This was all added to a coordinating card base. A few Pastel Fairy Jewels were popped on to finish things off.

Remember that little rectangle I had left over? I made a gift tag with it! I die cut another scalloped rectangle using the same coordinating cardstock. The stenciled portion was tucked in with a white panel added to the reverse for our ‘to and from’ message. A couple of bejewled balloons were stamped, die cut and popped up with foam tape to add to the festiveness!

The card and tag are complete, now I just need a gift to go with them!
