Spooky Cats

Hello! Tricia here with you today to share a cute Halloween card using the new Ghostly Cats die set. These are so adorable! I die cut from black and white cardstock. I know this card will be perfect for my mother in law. The sentiment is from the Bugs and Hisses sentiment set. I white heat embossed on black cardstock and trimmed it down.
I love to create the look of lace under vellum. I have used this technique before and it pairs so well with colored vellum. I used the Nordic Fancy Background die from dark purple cardstock. I then overlayed this with a dark purple vellum. I added the cats and sentiment and then I was able to strategically place my adhesive to add this to the card panel. I had a 3/4 inch hinge so that I could adhere the vellum to the back of the card base. It looks like lacy in the background.
I used a white card base to really show off the Nordic Fancy Background die cut. To finish off the card, I added some Fairy Jewels to the card to add a little sparkle.
