Celebrating Summer with Nordic Butterflies

With summer just around the corner, butterflies were calling my name. And my goodness, what pretty butterflies the Nordic variety are! I’m sharing two of them today. First up is the Nordic Floral Butterfly.
This one has a wonderful whimsical look to it. The sweet flower cut-outs let you change up the look in numerous ways. My butterfly was created using our fabulous Black Glossy Paper. I can not rave enough about this paper! The gloss is incredible, it’s a nice heavy weight and it cuts like a butter! Lovely lilac glitter paper from the Graceful Garden Glitter Pad was the perfect companion for this whimsical little lady! She’s perched atop a panel embossed with the Cheerful Floral folder that’s available from our parent company, Memory Box. I couldn’t decide on a sentiment for this one. I’ll add it when I need the card.
My second card features the Nordic Spectacular Butterfly. And I must say, it’s just that… spectacular!
Using the same Black Glossy Paper, there’s also a pretty pink layer and a black sparkly layer. I added a small strip of thin white paper behind the circle cut outs for just a bit more pizazz! The sentiment was stamped with black ink, then again with Versa Mark ink and clear embossed. This little lady is also perched on a Cheerful Floral embossed panel. This time I flipped the panel upside down.
