Nordic Butterfly Trio
by Birgit Norton

Hello Poppy friends, Birgit here with you today with a different take on using the Nordic Butterfly Trio from the spring release.

I started by cutting the Nordic Butterfly Trio out of a piece of script paper that I found in my scrap bucket.

I then layered the butterflies, gluing them down through the center, bending the wings up to give them dimension.

Next, I embossed a piece of pale blue cardstock from the 6×6 Vintage Patel Mirror Pad using the Cheerful Floral Embossing Folder which you can find here.
I mounted the embossed mirror panel to an A2 sized card and glued the butterflies onto the flowers. The details on this 3D embossing folder is phenomenal on this mirror cardstock!

I then added these photo corners that were cut using a die from the Basic Junk Journal Set, to finish the card.

Wow, this embossing is amazing with the gentle shine of the cardstock. I never would have expected Nordic butterflies, but I love them! Beautifully done, Birgit!
