Spring Thyme

Happy spring Poppy friends! I’m delighted to bring you this sweet card today featuring some of the new dies from the Spring collection. Let’s hop right in!
I started by cutting the Nordic Pattern Rings out of kraft cardstock and the Cuddle Bunny out of white cardstock. I colored the inside of the bunny ears using a copic marker and assembled the bunny. I mounted the circle onto the front of an A2 sized top folding cream colored card.
Next, I cut all the elements from the Nordic Flower Pots and Stems out of soft grey cardstock and colored the stems using Copic markers and then assembled the plant pots.
Next I played around with the layout until I was happy with it and glued the pieces down using liquid glue. Look at all the detail in the kraft colored circle!
Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Spring Banners onto a wavy banner, finishing the card. I love that there are two choices of banner styles in the sentiment sets. You get wavy or straight and there are so many wonderful sentiments to choose from.

Hi Birgit, A really lovely card with this cute bunny, the circle background die-cut reminds me of entwined rope, it has a lovely effect.

Adorable, Birgit! Anything with a bunny is all right by me. The Nordic Rings remind me of a braided rug. I love those cute flower pots, too, and I’ve had my eye on the sentiment set. I have the Christmas set and love it. Such a cute card!
