Merry Christmas
by Lisa Elton

Hello and Merry Christmas! I’m sharing a pair of cards today featuring the charming Nordic Deer. Long post, lots of pictures!

I die cut them, dressed them up in their cozy winter outfits, then got to work on their cards. Here we go with number one…

Snowflakes were a must for this winter card along with a littler sparkle!

I cut the Scandinavian Snowflake Plate and a couple of large flakes from the Snowflake Loop along with the Lavish Merry Christmas sentiment. They went onto a cranberry card base.

The seniment comes with a shadow die. I choose the same green from the deer’s outfit and a beautiful champagne glitter paper.

This close up of the deer shows that I used two different shades of kraft. His legs in the back are a little darker as are his antlers. I like that this die lets you position the legs in a couple of different ways.

My second card features the Nordic Whimsy Trees with the deer.

I added a couple of layers of snowbanks using the Whittle Field and Trees die set.

The Nordic Trees have sweet details on them that look wonderful on their own or bejeweled!

Two deer, two cards. I hope either one says Merry Christmas to you!
