Boo to You!
by Birgit Norton

Hello Poppystamps fans!  Birgit here with you today with a clean and simple Halloween card.

I started with an A2 size, top folding, white card base.  I cut a piece of black cardstock that measured slightly smaller than the card base, to allow a white framed border.  Using my scoreboard, I scored horizontal lines every half inch and mounted it to the card base.

Now for the fun part.  Let the die cutting begin!  I cut the Small Madison Window out of the same black card stock that I used for the front panel.   I used distress oxide inks and blending sponges to loosely create the night sky scene through the window, adding a few black and white ink splatters to finish it off.  I glued the window on top of the sky scene and trimmed it with my scissors.  I die cut the pumpkin from white card stock and colored it using copic markers, mounting the pumpkin inside the window.

The little ghosts were also cut out of white card stock with just the lightest amount of distress ink to add depth.

To finish the card off, I die cut the letters using Marzipan Alphabet, out of black cardstock and the piece of the sky scene that I had trimmed off earlier. I glued the letters together, offsetting them to allow the colored letter to act as a shadow to the black letter.
