Bi-Fold Valentine
by Nancy Penir

Happy, almost, Valentines! Nancy here, and I have some inspiration that you can apply to any event/holiday, a bi-fold card!

Poppystamps’ newest Tall Curved Heart Arch, fits perfectly with their Oval Fold Frame, which I used not long ago to create a regular A2 Valentine. This time Lets look at the Bi-fold style of card.

Cutting the Oval Fold Frame twice creates the base for your card.

The inside oval is the perfect place to add sentiment and/or decoration.

I added a band, as I found the folds stay closed better with one. Lets look at how I made my band.

Our sister company, Memory Box has cardstock collections in all colors. I cut 2 strips 1 1/2″ wide, glued them together,  and scored at 4 1/2″ on both sides of the connected band.

Decorating the band  is the fun part, and purely your choice. I used the long end of the scallop border edge and extra hearts I had added to the card.

Finished card with band, and ready to send. Note: I made my envelope, as the width of this card is a bit bigger than A2 size. 5 1/2 x 4 1/2″.

I frequently make my own envelopes, with paper weight cardstock.  Just be careful with postage.

Hope you enjoyed today’s post, and hope your Valentine’s Day is extra love-ly!

  1. Hi Nancy, A fantastic Valentine’s Day card, lovely colours, here you have also added a belly band and an envelope, such an effective creation. I’m loving the patterned papers you have used.
