Christmas In July Poinsetta
by Candice Crawford

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all having a good week. I am back on the blog today to share with you another Christmas in July project. This project is a holiday card featuring the Blooming Poinsettia and the Merry Christmas Flourish dies.
To get started on today’s cards, you will need to first die cut your card front panel from a piece of white card stock. I like to make my card front panels with the Double Stitch Rectangle Frames die set. Next you will cut two pieces of patterned paper from the Dashing Holiday 6×6 paper pad into 2 inches by 4.75 inches. I then adhere these two panels to the center of the white card front frame. I also added an .25 inch strip of silver glitter paper to cover the seam between the two patterned papers.

Next you can die cut your poinsettia and the Merry Christmas sentiment from white card stock. I die cut the flourish sentiment 3 times and trimmed off the flourish portion. I adhered all three layers of the sentiment together with liquid adhesive.

I assembled the poinsettia with both liquid and 3M foam tape. I added some chunky glitter to the edge of the poinsettia to give his shimmer and sparkle.

To assemble your card, simply add the poinsettia and the layered sentiment to the card base with some liquid glue.

Thank you all for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed today’s project and found inspiration to start your Christmas crafting.
Until next time… Happy Crafting.
