Summer Beach
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello! Hope you will all be enjoying the sun and beaches soon . I decided to make a bit of a beach-y card today. Using Poppystamps : Whittle dies all linked below.

I made a small slit in the circle to slide the whale in for just a bit. I have two cut circles glued together for this card, wanted just a bit of layers but still very easy and flat to mail.

After I die cut the little Whittle dies I used blender brushes to blend in my color with distressed oxide inks. One of my granddaughters had a beach panel she made while playing with the brushes so I decide to use what she already blended. I used the: Poppystamps Brilliant Rings ,  largest circle.

I placed the die over the spot of panel that I used so you can see what it looked like . Little Bailey made such a beautiful beach panel….. I really hated to cut into it.

After I was done I added a few more splatters, my granddaughter already added a few to her beach panel.

The base panel is watercolor paper from Hobby Lobby called Masters Touch, many of you ask me.

I hope you are all able to get outside and hopefully things will soon be back to normal. ( as much as possible) I hope you have some time to craft. I’ve found it a great blessing to have this hobby even more now.

Hope you have a great weekend and Happy Mothers day to you in USA
