Spring / Summer Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop!

We’re so happy that you have joined us here to play along with the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Be sure to enter for your chance to win a $25 gift card to Poppystamps!  More info below, but first Jennifer has some fun gift inspiration to share with your favorite coffee lover!

Sure, paper coffee cups can hold coffee… but they are also a clever way to give a gift card!  Super simple design, just added a rainbow all the way around with distress oxides, topped with white Delightful Daisies with centers made from yellow glitter paper from the Twinkling Jewel 6 x 6 pad.  Done!

No coffee cup gift is complete without a festive stopper, and this one shares a sweet message from Greetings Basics on the front, framed with adorable Whittle Wood Frames.  The back of the sign has space for a personal note on the back.  It’s sure to be a keepsake, unless used to deliver coffee (which is entirely a wonderful option, too!)

This technique of a quick oxide blend topped with a white die cut is so fast, so easy, and so much fun!  It’s a wonderful way to use all sorts of dies – there is just no limit to what can be done here.  How about a Whittle Hedgehog in front of a Flora Bloom?

Any border die is great for the bottom.  If it’s not long enough, simply extend it as shown in the video below, or paper piece it together to wrap all the way around.  The Leafy Garden Border is very easy to create long borders with, shown above.  Speckles are also a great way to add in some extra color, as with the Whittle Moose cup, below:

The Wooded Glen Landscape is also a great border die with many options for a fun cup!

“Enjoy Your Day” from the Birthday Blowout set was stamped and embossed in black (above).  Here’s a video for some more details on how these were created, along with a bonus idea!  If the video is not showing, it can be seen by clicking here.

Now, for your chance to WIN, and it’s going to be fun!  We want to know what you order at your favorite coffee shop!  Are you the, “Iced, Ristretto, 3-shot, venti, with breve, 1 pump vanilla, 2 pumps caramel, 4 splenda, poured, not shaken”  type? Or are you more along the lines of myself, “Americano with cream, please!”  Simply leave your comment by midnight EST, May 29th.  Winner will be announced here on the blog on Saturday, May 30th at noon EST.
