Happy Memories
by Nancy Penir

Greetings Poppy Peeps! I have a card to share with you using a wonderful sentiment stamp set Poppystamps recently released. I've paired my card's sentiment with a few new stencils too.

Stencils are a super quick way to set your cards up for maximum sentiment showcase.  I used Poppystamps' Romantic Blooms stencil, but only on the corners of my A2 sized card. You'll notice I applied my ink in several colors with a small sponge dauber, blending and fading outward from the center of the blooms.

I chose the sentiment 'Thinking of You' from Friendship and Kindness. This set has multiple sentiments, great for the inside of cards as well. By taping part of the words, you can use 2 colors, which is just what I did.

Happy is embossed in rose gold, while the rest of the sentiment is stamped, all by alternately taping and stamping.

You can see the embossed Happy, and the rest of the sentiment in this photo.

Notice how the stenciling fades around the greeting, allowing the words to be the stand out.

You can also add stenciling to your envelope flaps. An elegant touch of personalization for your cards!

Aside for the sequins, it's a one layer mailer. I think the best cards to send!

Hope you found some inspiration today, and possibly a new way or two to use the new fabulous stencils in the shop! Stay well, friends!
