Thinking of You

Hello crafty friends! I’m very anxious for spring to arrive so I decided to make spring card for you using soft colours with some of the new Poppystamps release!

I started by die cutting the Soaring Tree Frame from 3 layers of white card stock and 1 layer of linen card stock.

I chose some colours from the new Springtime Bouquet Stripes and Dots Paper Pad and cut them into thin strips and adhered them to a white panel that is slightly smaller than the Tree Frame then I attached the Tree Frame onto the dotted panel.

For the card base I picked a design from the new Springtime Bouquet Paper Pad. This skyburst pattern is so fun!

Have you seen the new Poetic Uppercase Alphabet die? It will die cut the entire alphabet in one pass, with 3-4 die cuts of each letter, so you can create your own sentiments! Love this because they are a nice size for putting together longer sentiments, phrases or for customizing cards or scrapbook pages with names and places. There is also a die that die cuts lowercase letters.

My Thinking of You sentiment is from the letters in this die and I used it vertically for a different look.

I finished off my card by adding a few butterflies from the Delicate Pastel Glitter Pad. The colours are so soft and sparkly in this paper pad, the camera just doesn’t do it justice!
