So Thankful For You

Hello Friends! It is Dana here today and I am happy to be back sharing another card with you all. Are you loving the New Release? There are so many great things for spring…I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to use first.

For my card today, I decided to use the Country Garden Wheelbarrow along with the Floral Cluster Die Set. I cut them both out of cardstock and added a little ink to my die cuts with a small finger dauber. I have found these small finger daubers work great on small die cuts. On the Wheelbarrow I added some kraft ink around the edges to give it a little dimension and I added some dark gray ink to the wheel. For the flowers and vines I applied Distress Oxide Ink in some fun spring colors (Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Worn Lipstick, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed). I also added a little Fairy Sugar in Berry Mist to the center of the flowers. Have you seen all the colors that the Fairy Sugar comes in? I am in love with it!! It adds just the perfect little touch.

Next, I began working on my card panels. I started by ink blending a little aqua ink onto a piece of white cardstock. I stamped my sentiment from the You Are Awesome stamp set directly onto my panel. I then used a little liquid glue to assemble my wheelbarrow and flowers, and once again I added it to my card panel. Don’t you just love all the detail this die creates?

To finish my card, I added a hibiscus cardstock mat behind my card front. Lastly, I mounted everything onto a piece of patterned paper from the Cottage Meadow Paper Pad before attaching my card panel to an A2 card base.
