Graceful Heart Frame Inlay

Hi friends! It’s Jeanne here today and I’m absolutely loving the Poppystamps new Valentine’s release. I sure hope you are too! Craft dies are hands down my favorite craft item. I love the clean crisp lines, and every time I cut one it’s just magic to me! 
I cut the Graceful Heart Frame die from white card stock and used up lots of colorful card stock scraps to fill in the die cut openings. If you look close you’ll see I tried to soften the color for an ombre effect like you see with ink blending. The turquoise at the bottom of the card is much darker than the inlay cuts at the top in soft aqua. I added a few different shades of green card stock for the foliage too. 
The Love Flourish craft die fits perfectly inside the heart die cut opening for a simple sentiment. I think it would be fun to add a photograph in the opening for an anniversary card. The stamped sentiment is from the Valentine Fairies stamp set. The simple type font contrasts well with the fanciful Love Flourish.

Love the way you combined this beautiful frame die and the flourish die. Your choice of colors for the inlay is spot on. I wouldn’t have thought to inlay the black but it really makes the rest of the colors pop. Thanks for the inspiration!

Dies are my favourite craft item too and Poppystamps ones are so cute! Love the vibrant colours you choose for your card and the graceful heart frame is fabulous and very useful. Love how the flourish sentiment looks into the heart and the double colours of the foliages!
