Hi everyone and welcome to Poppystamps’ Holiday Blog Blitz. I’m featuring the new Christmas Flourish. Let’s have a closer look at this beautiful die.

Gorgeous isn’t it? And do you notice anything else? The holiday paper, maybe? Yup. A beautiful book of double sided papers available this holiday season too! Let’s take a look at a fun way to make a couple of holiday cards with this new die.

I cut the Merry Christmas die out several times with glitter paper. This is an intricate die so I used my shim to get a precise cut. Also I knew I’d be backing the die with a darker shadow and cut it out with black Cardstock as well.

A white background circle was shaded a bit with ink using a blender brush.

The green Christmas die cut just popped against one of the new papers included in the Holiday Paper pack.

Couldn’t resist adding the grosgrain ribbon die behind the sentiment on this card.
