Sending Birthday Wishes
by Nancy Penir

Hi Poppy fans! I have a bright spring birthday card to show you today, made with Poppy's Garden Poppy Sidekick Frame and Stencil.
These sweet little flowers really shine when the stencil is placed over them and inked.

I decided to really go for intense red. And chose Altenew's Heartbeat to ink the poppy images.

As you can see, I deepened the red hue at the bottom of the poppy, leaving most of the top white, as if the light was shinning from the top.

The result was an intentional color contrast when placed over an inked green background.

I ombre stamped my sentiment from Flower Garden stamp set, before gluing down the frame. I also added some hanging vines, pots and inked birds from another new die set, Greenhouse Potted Plants Sidekick Frame and Stencil.
Hope you got some inspiration today. And hope you find some crafty time to create.

Wow!!! This frame is a favourite for me and LOVE so much how you used it with the pots and birds of the Greenhouse Frame die set!! Amazing result, so inspiring!!
VERY PRETTY, Nancy!!! 😉
Nancy, this card is so lovely. The coloring (stenciled and background) is a great contract that highlights the poppies so well. tfs
