Happy Valentine’s Day
by Donna Peachey

Whittle Mouse is up for grabs on the Poppystamps Blog Blitz today!

I’ll include a super quick ‘how to’ guide, followed by details on how you can enter to win.

Start with a 4.25 x 5.5″ card base.

Use the stencil from Ribbon Heart Sidekick Frame to create a subtle embossed design, then use the Pinpoint Hearts as shown.

Finally, add an ink splatter using a syringe.

(For those of you new to ink splatting with a syringe, the secret is the push that plunger down as quickly as you can)!

Here are all the dies you will need…

Use a flower shaping tool to shape the petals (one of which will become the ‘grass’).

Add a second layer to the Happy Valentine’s Day wording – and to the Shaker Heart.

The mouse is made up of four layers, one of which is only a partial die cut so that the mouse lies flat on the card.

Glue everything into place for a quick and simple design.

Now here’s the part you’ve been waiting for…  a reminder on how to win!

The blog blitz runs from January 9-21. Poppystamps will be giving away a prize on every blog blitz post during this time.
