Peaceful Hillside
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there! I hope your weekend is going well! I love using these Hillside dies from Poppystamps , you have so many options. This is my first time using the darling :Tiny Fawn dies. I blended some ink on a scrap of watercolor cardstock then cut the fawns out. I was so tempted to add the spots, eyes and nose like Pam did( adorable) maybe next time.

I added a bit of soft green glitter to the trees and then left the card alone. I wanted to add a sentiment to the front but  decided to leave it blank and just let the trees and fawn shine.

I am showing the back side ( not very pretty) of my project so you can see how I add my fun foam. I  used my tape gun to add tape where needed, add the fun foam and trim where needed. I then placed a piece of vellum over the opening to give a soft sky.

The gold envelope in the photo is from Birch Press Design . Thanks for the visit today.

God bless!

  2. Hi Marybeth, So beautiful !! I adore these cute fawns, they are gorgeous. I have been to a craft show today looking for these hillside dies, but only managed to get the Open Hillside, I’m still after the Sloping Hillside die. These are so very effective, I absolutely love this.
