Sending Good Things Your Way
by Jeanne Jachna

I hope you’re having a great day!  Sometimes Mondays are a little hard so I’m sending good things your way with a pretty floral card made with the Sending Scribbles Clear Stamp set and coordinating dies.

I created a simple background by blending Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink on a white card panel.  Next I splattered it with water, and then I splattered it again with some watered down Mustard Seed ink.   For the finishing touch a splatter of white ink.  I kept the bottom of the card free of ink – the perfect place for my sentiment.

I normally cut and color several stamped images when I get a new set to make it easier when I create.  All I need to do is select the images I want and arrange them in different ways.  I usually use a scrap piece of heavy plastic or acetate to pick up the whole arrangement to experiment with different backgrounds.  This allows me to move the entire arrangement instead of one image at a time.

Because I cut several leaves and flowers I can tuck them in here and there to decide how many looks best in my arrangement.  I love that I can create lots of different cards and looks by using just one stamp set and matching dies.

I purposely didn’t do alot of color blending with the Copic markers.  The scribbled design of the flowers give a more casual feel, and the loose coloring adds to freehand look of the images.

These flowers are fresh and fun!  I know you’ll reach for this set over and over again!
