Holiday Blog Blitz – Magical Christmas
by Robin Tharaldson

Hi everyone! This is my first post for Poppystamps and I am thrilled to have been asked to join their talented design team!  AND I get to start with their Holiday 2017 release, how fun is that? The Holiday 2017 Blog Blitz continues through August 17 and is filled with creative ideas! Poppystamps will be giving away a prize, each day of the Blog Blitz, so be sure to leave a comment.  Winners will be announced August 18, good luck!!!

My double fold card features the Open Hillside, Sloping Hillside and Snowscape dies along with the word dies “believe” and “magic”. The card base was made using 12″ x 12″ cardstock cut to 5 1/2″ x 12″ and scored at 4″ from each end.

I cut the first panel with the Open Hillside die.

My next panel uses the Sloping Hillside die.

The center panel snowfall was made using the Snowscape die and dark blue cardstock. I used the Do You Believe stamp set to add my sentiments and the star, from the same set, was heat embossed using silver embossing powder.

I cut the words believe and magic from glitter cardstock. To add dimension, the words were also cut 2x each from white cardstock, glued and layered together along with the glitter words. To finish my card I added Stampendous Crystal Snow to the trees and hillside.

I hope this card has given you inspiration for your holiday cards or projects! I better get going on my cards, Christmas will be here before I know what happened!!! Be sure to leave a comment by August 17 for your chance to win the Sloping Hillside die used in today’s post!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!
