Sweet Pea Faeries
by Sue McRae

Hello crafters, Sue here with a sparkly card featuring a few of the products from the newest Poppystamps release.

For my background I used Distress Inks to create a soft palette of pink, purple and blue.

I die cut the Sweet Pea flower from purple and pink glitter card stock and die cut the flower head from purple vellum and used the vellum for one layer of the petals. The vellum breaks up the flower design and gives it an airy feel.

The Playful Mini Faeries (there’s three in the set) are a perfect size for fluttering around the flower and I love how one of them fits perfectly for standing on the flower stem.

Since I was on a glitter roll I pulled out some white glitter card stock and die cut a bunch of Leafy Sprigs to use as grass and I grounded the design with a piece of blue glitter card stock.

I finished off with a sentiment from the Fairy Greetings stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
