Spring Blog Blitz | Snowy Mountaintops
by Jinny Newlin

Hey, y'all!  It's Jinny here today, and I'm super excited to be sharing a few new goodies from our Spring 2017 Release, all wrapped up in my brother's birthday card.  Enjoy!

I started this card by die-cutting all the scenery bits and pieces, including Stitched Cloudline, Snowy Mountaintops, and Pretty Flowers, from watercolor paper; watercoloring each one to reflect its place in the scene; and piecing them all together, before splattering them with Pure Black and Titanium White acrylic paints.  Once it was dry, I die-cut the snowy specks on the mountaintops from white, glitter paper and pieced them right into the openings on the mountains.  I so wish you could see that glitter better.

I then die-cut the Happy Birthday Streamer from Basic Black cardstock; applied it to the center of the scene; and added interest with Glossy Accents…

before anchoring everything, to the white, cardstock, card face, with black-threaded, straight, machine stitches, to complete the look.

Be sure to stop back by every day through next Friday, March 17, 2017, to see what my talented teammies have cooked up, using all the new goodies, just for your viewing pleasure.  AND don't forget to leave lots of love as you visit; because a new, Spring Release product is being randomly given away on EACH AND EVERY Poppystamps' blog post.  You have until Tuesday, March 21, 2017, to do so.  Winners will be announced right here, on the Poppystamps blog, the following Saturday, March, 25, 2017.  I've got that fabulous Snowy Mountaintops craft die, that you see in action above, to giveaway today.

That's it, from me, for today; but there truly is so much left to see.  You simply don't want to miss out.  Have fun, and good luck with ALL the glorious prizes, Poppystamps friends!  Hugs!
