Welcome to the Poppystamps Blog! New Release Blog Blitz! New Dies and Stamps! How exciting!

I designed my card around this cute little die called Scribble Love Heart. You have a chance to win it! Just leave a comment on this post to be entered. Winners will be announced at the end of the blog blitz!

I cut the scribble heart in red and fun foam, with a square of white card stock to fit the back. on the fun foam layer I cut out the word love. After adding acetate for the wind and the foam layer I added sequins and glued all together.

The background dies are from Birch Press Designs a division of Poppystamps/Memory Box Co. Such a Groovy 70's Valentine Vibe to this Card!

The blog blitz runs  from January 9-January 23, 2017.  We'll be giving  away a prize on every post during this time.   Most days we'll have 2 posts so check back often!

  8. Groovy love shaker pretty much says it. The heart cover with layered hearts in pink shades and shaker is a little bit of everything in the best way.

  38. Definitely in the 70’s groove, think my sister had some bedroom wallpaper very similar to the look you created on your card and the little heart made as a shaker just adds to the fun thanks for sharing your fun design.

  80. Digging this groovy card Lezlye. The small shaker part is completely cool. I’ve never even thought of using a smaller area for the shaker element, and that nice open window in that die is just perfect.
    The background dies from Birch Press are FANTASTIC, but now I’m lusting after them, and my budget just won’t go there.
    I’m going to make a small shaker element when I play with my toys this week. Thanks you for your stunning inspiration.
